The Depth of Salvation

Keep your eyes on Jesus and look away from all that will distract you. (Hebrews 12:2 AMP)
We have all heard the phrase, "Keep your eyes on the lord". And "Do not be distracted by the wiles of the enemy". The lord used these two phrases to teach me a new level of the depths and importance of salvation.
One of the areas that the enemy often times attack is the salvation of Jesus. He does this by utilizing distraction strategies.
The enemy has watched people and learned people's vices, and what makes people fall into sin. He knows what mankind does not know about God and he uses the vices of people to accuse and condemn them before the lord. Once he has a legal right (Sin) to attack people, he then has permission to sift mankind like wheat. (Luke 22:31-34)
You may be saying to yourself, what does this have to do with salvation?
Well...
Satan, WILL TRY to attack the area of salvation by distracting you from the truth. The truth is that he knows that you enter into a whole new realm of protection when you accept salvation. He does not want anyone to know who you are in Jesus, or the depths of salvation. You see, salvation is not just about having the wisdom of winning souls, but reconciliation is also a ministry.
"All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: v19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation"
~ 2 Corinthians 5:18-19 NIV
GW version 2 Corinthians 5:18-19 says:
"God has done all this. He has restored our relationship with him through Christ, and has given us this ministry of restoring relationships. v19 In other words, God was using Christ to restore his relationship with humanity. He didn’t hold people’s faults against them, and he has given us this message of restored relationships to tell others"
Let us look at what exactly is salvation.
Salvation is deliverance from danger or suffering. To save is to deliver or protect. The word “salvation” concerns an eternal, spiritual deliverance. Sometimes, the bible uses the words saved or salvation to refer to temporal, physical deliverance, such as Paul’s deliverance from prison (Philippians 1:19). We can see there are two types of deliverance that the enemy wants to stop. Spiritual and physical.
What exactly does salvation save us from?
Salvation saves us from sin because sin has separated us from God, and the consequence of sin is death (Romans 6:23).
In 2 Timothy 1:19 we can see that sin is equated to evil.
Salvation saves us from the power of sin and iniquity (Jeremiah 31:33-34 KJV)
By the shed blood of Jesus on Calvary, our sin conscious mind is sprinkled by said blood so that we can go to the throne of grace boldly (Hebrews 10:22 NLT). This means that all of your flaws, faults, guilt and mistakes, God does not judge your worth by them. He does not remember them or use them against you. He does not bring things back up and throw it in your face. In fact, he has remembered you, making you a little lower than Elohim, crowning you with glory and majesty, to rule over the works of his hands and putting all things under your feet. (Psalms 8:5, Hebrews 2:7, Job 7:17, Psalms 144:3)
Do you still think that God is punishing you? God said he is holy, and he will not act on his anger. (Hosea 11:9 GW). This means that he is not like mankind because he is holy, blameless, righteous, and the God who is rich in mercy. God is not a God that he should lie (Numbers 23:19 NKJV) nor is he mortal that he should repent. His word is true and will stand (Psalms 119:160 NLT). Shall he not make it good? You do not have to "Clean up before you go to God". 1 Peter 1:17 says God does not play favorites. God will not choose the highest tither with the nicest shoes or biggest church hat, over the poor person who seeks him with a pure heart. In Mark 12:44 the poor widow had favor from Jesus because of the intent of her heart.
By revelation that God gives, of Hebrews 12:24 (AMP) our eyes open up to the understanding that the blood of Jesus is against those things that accuse and condemn.
"and to Jesus, the Mediator of a new covenant [uniting God and man], and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks [of mercy], a better and nobler and more gracious message than the blood of Abel [which cried out for vengeance]." So, why would God accuse you and condemn you when he has sent his sinless son into this world to restore the relationship between him and mankind?
Salvation is always and only available through Jesus and NOT BY ANY OTHER PERSON: Acts 4:12 & John 14:6 GW version
" No one else can save us. Indeed, we can be saved only by the power of the one named Jesus and not by any other person.”
"Jesus answered him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one goes to the Father except through me."
You may be asking, when is a good time to receive salvation?
2 Corithians 6:2 GW version says, "God says, “At the right time I heard you. On the day of salvation I helped you.” Listen, now is God’s acceptable time! Now is the day of salvation!"
You receive salvation by believing you are saved by faith, hear the gospel—the good news of Jesus’ death and resurrection (Ephesians 1:13) and call on the name of the Lord (Romans 10:9-10).
If you are ready to accept Jesus as your personal lord and savior, repeat this simple prayer:
Heavenly father, in the name of Jesus, I come to you in prayer asking for forgiveness of my sins. I confess with my mouth and believe in my heart that Jesus is your son, and that he died on the cross at Calvery that I may be forgiven and have eternal life in the kingdom of heaven. Father, I believe that Jesus rose from the dead and I ask you right now to come into my life and be my personal lord and savior. I repent of my sins and will praise you all the days of my life. Because your word is truth, I confess with my mouth that I am born again and cleansed by the blood of Jesus! In Jesus name, Amen!
